Electricity shut-off notice: help Miguel pay $250
Help Miguel cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this winter.
🇧🇷 Brazil355 views
The electricity account is 2 months behind. Miguel received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $250 is paid. He had never been late before August's medical emergency.
Miguel called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $45 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Miguel is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $250 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $175
• Reconnection and late fees: $35
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Olinda.
thinking of you, Carlos. Shared it with a few friends. After 6 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Faisalabad.
Sending strength, Carlos. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. All the best
Thinking of you and your family. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Olinda
