Electricity shut-off notice: help Mauricio pay $200

A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Mauricio needs $200 before December.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $200. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $45 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $200 goes: • Electricity arrears: $75 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $105 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
