The electricity account is 2 months behind. Mary Grace received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Mary Grace called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which isn't available. The household includes a newborn, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. Mary Grace is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $150 goes: • Gas arrears: $120 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $10 I hope life is good to you. - Trisha
