Electricity shut-off notice: help Kumar pay $100
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Kumar needs $100 before November.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $100. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Kumar's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Water arrears: $60
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $25
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Kumar?
hope it all works out, Kumar. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
Sending love, Kumar. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Mumbai.
Sending strength, Kumar. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless
