Electricity shut-off notice: help Joy pay $50
Help Joy cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $50. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $50 goes:
• Gas arrears: $30
• Reconnection and late fees: $10
• Down payment on a payment plan: $10
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

What's already covered and what's the $50 for?
Gas arrears is $30 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
Sending love. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Epe.
You're not alone. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
So sorry you're going through this, Joy. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Kyiv.
