Electricity shut-off notice: help Ingrid pay $200
Ingrid is behind on electricity bills after a reduction in hours and needs $200 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $200. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Ingrid's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $200 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $120
• Reconnection and late fees: $35
• Down payment on a payment plan: $45

So sorry you're going through this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 3 people at work. Greetings from Sheffield
Wishing you the best. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Love from Karachi
Rooting for you, Ingrid. Hope you get there. After 21 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Duque de Caxias.
Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
