Electricity shut-off notice: help Haritha pay $150
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Haritha needs $150 before April.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $150. I have never been late before losing my job in December.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $75
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $45
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you peace. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Stay strong, Haritha. This could happen to any of us.
Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 8 years in farming I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Take care
