Electricity shut-off notice: help Ethan pay $800
Help Ethan cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this winter.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom2,223 views
The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $800. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $130 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $800 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $480
• Reconnection and late fees: $160
• Down payment on a payment plan: $160
Glad we found this place.
