The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $850. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $100 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $850 goes: • Water arrears: $440 • Reconnection and late fees: $145 • Down payment on a payment plan: $265 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Looking forward to the next update. Don't give up. Thinking of Arlington

    • Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Indore.

      • Praying for you. Shared this with my family. After 19 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
