Electricity shut-off notice: help Armando pay $200
Help Armando cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $200. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Armando's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $200 goes:
• Utility arrears: $60
• Reconnection and late fees: $50
• Down payment on a payment plan: $90
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Keep going, Armando. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Narayanganj donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Armando. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Boulogne-Billancourt.
Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Sheffield this morning. Thinking of Guadalajara.
wishing you peace, Armando. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together.
Sending good thoughts. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Guadalajara
