Electricity shut-off notice: help Aoi pay $500
Help Aoi cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.
🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan1,883 views
The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $500. I have never been late before losing my job in September.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $90 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $500 goes:
• Water arrears: $250
• Reconnection and late fees: $130
• Down payment on a payment plan: $120
Glad we found this place.
