Electricity shut-off notice: help Ana pay $200

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $200. I have never been late before June's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which I don't have. I live with a newborn, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Ana's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $200 goes: • Utility arrears: $135 • Reconnection and late fees: $25 • Down payment on a payment plan: $40 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
