The electricity account is 4 months behind. Aiden received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $650 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Aiden called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $115 first, which isn't available. The household includes two young children, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
