The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on January unless I pay $600. I have never been late before November's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $185 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
