Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Odette pay $550
Help Odette cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $550. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $75 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Odette's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $550 goes:
• Water arrears: $210
• Reconnection and late fees: $155
• Down payment on a payment plan: $185
Every share and every dollar helps.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Odette?
Thank you. If you're in Gatineau I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.
Best of luck, Odette. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Hang in there, Odette. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
You're not alone, Odette. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Gatineau.
good luck, Odette. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
