Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Lệ pay $100
Lệ is behind on electricity and water bills after a reduction in hours and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. Lệ received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Lệ called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Lệ is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

Quick update: $75 raised so far (75%). I met with the utility company and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($30 in total) the plan for water arrears is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
