Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Kwame pay $150
Help Kwame cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless I pay $150. I have never been late before losing my job in April.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Kwame's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $100
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $25

Sending good thoughts, Kwame. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Hope you get there. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out
you're not alone. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Pretoria this morning.
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Dasmariñas.
Good luck, Kwame. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
