Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Cláudio pay $300
Cláudio is behind on electricity and water bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $300 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $300. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
