Electrician needed urgently: Gayathri's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed electrician in Mumbai to donate time or work at cost.

In September an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $400 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $20.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Your post was clear and honest. Love from Kaduna.
Good luck, Gayathri. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out.
