Eitan's cervical cancer treatment fund
Eitan is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In February I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. My oncology team at the Tel Aviv Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in May. I was told to expect about 8 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 26, I worked as a construction supervisor until February, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Tel Aviv Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $7,950 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,270
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this, Eitan. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best!
