Edson needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Santos
Edson drives for a living in Santos, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $600 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $400
• Labor charges: $80
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Towing and inspection: $30

You're not alone, Edson. Small businesses are the heart of Santos. Hope you're open again soon. Sent it to 17 people at work.
Keep going, Edson. Shared this with my family. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
