Edilene needs a prosthetic leg that the health system won't fund; the cost is $2,650.

Edilene lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at São Paulo General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,650.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Edilene could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
