Edgardo needs a cutting table and overlocker to reopen a sewing studio
A sewing studio in Manila needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after a break-in.

For six years I have run a sewing studio in Manila. In June, a break-in took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $330
• Working capital for the first month: $65
Glad we found this place.

best of luck, Edgardo. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Manila.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Edgardo?
Thank you. If you're in Manila I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Best of luck, Edgardo. Small businesses are the heart of Manila. Hope you're open again soon. It's not much but it's yours.
Stay strong, Edgardo. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
