Ebru's thyroid cancer treatment fund
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Antalya Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ebru was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December. The oncology team at Antalya Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Ebru is 52, worked as a bank teller until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Antalya Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,700
• Scans and lab work: $340
• Transport to Antalya Regional Medical Center: $190
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $195
• Household costs while unable to work: $325
