Dylan can't leave home - help build a ramp
Dylan uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Dylan has used a wheelchair since 2021, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Dylan can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Dylan's family will cook lunch for the team.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace, John. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Johannesburg donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Los Angeles.
Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings
Wishing you peace, John. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Saint-Denis
You're not alone, John. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Los Angeles
