Duygu was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in September. The oncology team at Ankara Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Duygu is 25, worked as a tailor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ankara Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $280
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,800
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $170
