I make my living with my school-run minibus. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $590
• Labor charges: $130
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• Towing and inspection: $70
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

sending love, Doron. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Toronto so I could bring a meal. All the best.
