Donna's spinal decompression surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a herniated spinal disc, Donna was cleared for spinal decompression surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Donna was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in February. The surgeon at Toledo Orthopedic Institute recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,750 short.
my sister has been in and out of Toledo Orthopedic Institute since February. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Donna struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Donna won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
