Donate a coat: Wellington is collecting for 60 families
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before winter.

I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Mosque in Juiz de Fora. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Juiz de Fora, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Mosque on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Juiz de Fora.
You're not alone, Wellington. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Sending love, Wellington. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Tehuacán this morning.
Hope it all works out, Wellington. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Bangkok!
sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Fort Collins.
