I coordinate donations at the Harmony Primary School in Zagazig. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Zagazig, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Primary School on Saturday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength, Taghreed. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care

    • Keep going, Taghreed. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best

      • Keep going. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Los Angeles so I could bring a meal. All the best.

        • Thinking of you, Taghreed. Gave what I could, wish it was more. It's not much but it's yours
