Volunteers wanted: Concetta's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Lecce: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Lecce for 21 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Puglia. I'll ask around and let you know
