I coordinate donations at Unity Refugee Centre in Chattogram. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Chattogram, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Unity Refugee Centre on Tuesday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Unity Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Keep going, Sultana. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

    • Thinking of you. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry

      • Thinking of you, Sultana. It takes guts to ask. Well done.

        • wishing you peace, Sultana. Your post was clear and honest. Blessings!

          • wishing you the best, Sultana. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Chattogram.
