Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the rains.

I coordinate donations at the Acacia Family Centre in Mthatha. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Mthatha, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Family Centre on Sunday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Greetings from Leeds.
Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up. Blessings
Thinking of you and your family, Lindiwe. Hope this works out for you. My husband and I read this together.
sending love, Lindiwe. This could happen to any of us. After 8 years in farming I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Take care.
