I coordinate donations at Acacia Refugee Centre in Regensburg. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Regensburg, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Sending good thoughts, Fabian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.

    • I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Joliet
