Don't let Yevhen's family go through winter without electricity
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Yevhen needs $100 before September.
🇺🇦 Odesa, Odesa Oblast, Ukraine389 views
The electricity account is 3 months behind. Yevhen received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Yevhen called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Yevhen is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Yevhen's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Heating arrears: $50
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $25
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Praying for you, Maria. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this, Maria. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Gaziantep so I could bring a meal.
Hang in there. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Put this on a community board in San Fernando this morning
Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Los Angeles this morning. Thinking of Odesa
You're not alone, Maria. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
