Don't let Wafa's family go through winter without electricity and water
Wafa is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in March and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Wafa received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in March.
Wafa called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Wafa is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Wafa's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Water arrears: $95
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40

Hope it all works out, Malak. Shared this with my family. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Wishing you the best, Malak. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Keep going, Malak. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Luxor.
Best of luck, Malak. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
