Don't let Taslima's family go through summer without heating
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Taslima needs $150 before September.

The heating account is 4 months behind. Taslima received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Taslima called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Taslima is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Taslima's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Heating arrears: $70
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $50

Wishing you the best, Salma. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Bacoor
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Taslima!
Wishing you the best, Salma. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Bellevue.
Thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Nagpur.
Wishing you the best, Salma. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Blessings.
