The gas account is 2 months behind. Stella received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless $600 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours. Stella called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $90 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
