The gas account is 3 months behind. Skylar received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $800 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Skylar called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $160 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Skylar is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Skylar's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
