The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $150. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $150 goes: • Gas arrears: $90 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $40 Thanks for being kind about this. - Ploy
