Don't let Mavis's family go through the cold months without electricity and water
Help Mavis cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $100. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Mavis's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Heating arrears: $70
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $10
Thank you so much.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mavis.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. heating arrears comes first ($70) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
So sorry you're going through this, Mavis. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless
wishing you the best, Mavis. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Kumasi
