Don't let Marcos's family go through summer without electricity

Help Marcos cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this summer.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $150. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $50 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $150 goes: • Utility arrears: $75 • Reconnection and late fees: $25 • Down payment on a payment plan: $50 If you're reading this, thank you. - Marcos
