Don't let Lydia's family go through the cold months without water
A disconnection notice for water arrived and Lydia needs $500 before November.

The water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $500. I have never been late before July's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $500 goes:
• Utility arrears: $240
• Reconnection and late fees: $115
• Down payment on a payment plan: $145
