Don't let Lourdes's family go through the rainy season without electricity and water

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. Lourdes received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $200 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours. Lourdes called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. Lourdes is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Lourdes's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $200 goes: • Gas arrears: $135 • Reconnection and late fees: $45 • Down payment on a payment plan: $20 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
