Don't let Léo's family go through winter without heating
Léo is behind on heating bills after losing my job in March and needs $550 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $550. I have never been late before losing my job in March.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $65 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through winter without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $550 goes:
• Utility arrears: $310
• Reconnection and late fees: $60
• Down payment on a payment plan: $180
With deep gratitude,
Léo

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Saint-Denis.
Thank you. If you're in Saint-Denis I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Hope things get better soon, Léo. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
Thanks for sharing this. Shared this with my family. God bless.
Take care, Léo. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together
