Don't let Julian's family go through summer without gas

A disconnection notice for gas arrived and Julian needs $650 before September.

🇺🇸 Rochester, New York, United States773 views
The gas account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $650. I have never been late before July's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $185 first, which I don't have. I live with a newborn, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Julian's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $650 goes: • Gas arrears: $330 • Reconnection and late fees: $185 • Down payment on a payment plan: $135 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Julian
