Don't let Jordan's family go through the cold months without electricity

The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $650. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $130 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Jordan's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $650 goes: • Utility arrears: $330 • Reconnection and late fees: $65 • Down payment on a payment plan: $255 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Jordan

  1. We're at 46% thanks to 2 of you. I met with the utility company and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($425 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
