The gas account is 3 months behind. Héctor received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless $1,100 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours. Héctor called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $90 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Héctor is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
