Don't let Gifty's family go through winter without electricity and water
A disconnection notice for electricity and water arrived and Gifty needs $105 before November.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $105. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Gifty's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $105 goes:
• Heating arrears: $75
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $5

Keep going, Gifty. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Dodoma but we're thinking of you.
hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care.
Sending good thoughts. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Don't give up. Greetings from Mumbai.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Thủ Đức so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Thinking of you, Gifty. Your post was clear and honest. I'll check back for the next update
a secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
