Don't let Fatuma's family go through winter without electricity
Help Fatuma cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this winter.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $100. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Fatuma's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Heating arrears: $50
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending good thoughts. Hope you get there. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
You're not alone. This could happen to any of us. Love from Fort Worth.
hang in there. Looking forward to the next update. Please keep us posted. Blessings.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Kinondoni.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Wish I lived closer to San Miguel de Tucumán so I could bring a meal.
